WHAT IS MUN?

The Model United Nations - also known as MUN - is an extra-curricular activity in which students approach the world of international organizations and diplomacy through a role-playing game in which they play the role of ambassador of a particular country in the context of one of the many UN committees. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of students participate every year in activities of this kind organized in classrooms or by associations that offer national and international conferences.

The MUN activities have in fact allowed many students to develop their skills in the field of public speeches, debate, collaborative work and mediation, documentary research: the MUN has always been a training ground for exercising what are called "soft skills. ". For many, the MUNs have been the gateway to the world of international relations, human rights, the promotion of world peace and security, concrete solutions to climate change and the problems of our present world.
