DRINKING WATER
Water from the tap is safe, high-quality and drinkable everywhere in Switzerland. It is therefore not necessary to buy bottled water to have access to safe and affordable drinking water.

The Swiss official currency is Swiss Francs (CHF). Please make sure to always bring some cash with you as some places might not accept credit cards.
TRAVEL
How to reach the conference venue (please note that you can check every public transport timetable and route on the official SBB website or on the SBB Mobile APP, on both of them you can also purchase your tickets).
BY TRAIN
Take the train to Lugano, then take the bus for a short ride to the venue. Take the bus either to “Savosa Villa Recreatio”, “Savosa Valgersa” or to “Savosa Liceo”.

Zurich is two and a half hours away by train, while Milano Airport (Italy) is one and a half hours away. Both airports have direct trains to Lugano. Please check timetables and tickets availability on the SBB website or app.
BY CAR
The conference venue is located just outside the motorway exit of “Lugano Nord” (A2 highway).
VISA
DO I NEED A VISA? WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET ONE?
Make sure to check the updated information on the requirement to travel to Switzerland from your country. While citizens from some countries (mostly North American and European countries) do not need a visa, other countries do.

HOW WILL TI-MUN ASSIST YOU IN THE PROCESS?
At the current moment, according to TI-MUN policies, our staff won’t be able to provide you with an invitation letter for your visa. Please make sure to understand if you need one before registration. If TI-MUN policies on this matter should change in the future, we will update this page accordingly.
